BEAUTIFUL DEATH

As I laid, broken On my back and on the ground I saw the sky beaming Smiling but making mockery My blood on the sheets So beautiful the designs made Like scarlet glory, I bled Such beauty I beheld The aura of my death unusual The smell of nature luring me A faint smell of roses And a careful swirl of dusk breeze In awe, I smiled in death For I left in a beautiful way The pain forgotten, just beauty What a beautiful death.                        CATALEA BONEZ

CLINGS OF CHILDHOOD

I remember the days of old When my legs were feeble but free How the sun looked as beautiful as gold Where my heart Lept with joy for fun Through those sharp eyes Everything was ethereal No moment was remembered often I could always create a new one The smell of raindrops on dry sand Running legs and shouts of joy Then the look of sadness when darkness thrives But a smile on my face for dawn was aloof The wistful feeling of peace Content with only the moment at sight Humming softly and knowing joy at its finest Bracing the wind with spreading hands Swift was the journey of childhood A facade of our growing memories Sooner than later the sun didn't feel golden And the fun outside felt like a plague from the sun Now my present lies far away from my past slowly, memories are leaving me I no longer see things magically Just reality starring at me with content Tell me your journey was as beautiful as mine When the cock Crowl was an alarm for freedom!
