As I laid, broken
On my back and on the ground
I saw the sky beaming
Smiling but making mockery
My blood on the sheets
So beautiful the designs made
Like scarlet glory, I bled
Such beauty I beheld
The aura of my death unusual
The smell of nature luring me
A faint smell of roses
And a careful swirl of dusk breeze
In awe, I smiled in death
For I left in a beautiful way
The pain forgotten, just beauty
What a beautiful death.
