Square peg in a round hole

There is an uproar for elites  Lads that have out grown childhood  Sisters that have become mothers They never fail, they are omini glorious  I'm trying to hold the ever running hands  To grace the face of knowledge and fame  I keep running but back into my cocoon  With no experience I stare in awe  Where do I stand.?  Is there a place for the black sheep ? The ones that look nothing like their predecessors  The square pegs in a round hole  I know nothing about greatness  I hold no cure to low self esteem  We're everywhere and we're broken  Grace the great, Grace us too.                       CATALEA BONEZ

Voices

Fear is the beast of yesterday It has crippled hearts and stopped dreams The unbreakable weakling Bold but empty Fear is that shrill voice from within That golden voice that seems real Voices that make the cocoon comfortable The voice that never fights Fear has shut the mouths of legends Destroyed the visions we should live for It took the Breastplate of leadership A king with little might! Where did you leave your dreams? What about you, your visions? Stand up let's take a walk to greatness First, let's find our own voices Did you speak today? Where is fear? We do not speak when we're uncomfortable We speak especially when we're uncomfortable                          CATALEA BONEZ

Raining glory

Yesterday it rained gloriously and I was seated in bed, next to the window. I starred at the grey sky and the leaves being relieved of dirt, the air become health and mother earth accepted all of it whole heatedly. Often times we're too sad, too broken, too tired to see the beauty that dwells right there in the middle of our pain. Yes it's raining now but the rain has washed us by making us stronger, cleaned our eyes for us to see better and mother earth, which is our heart has learned to endure. My brother who was a cerebia Paltic patient taught me a lot in nine years. I'm using was because he died at the ninth year of his life and I hope he is OK with me always using his story to teach some soft persons a lesson. My brother, Samuel was a gift even in agony, couldn't walk, talk, or chew properly but he never forgot to laugh. He knew the true meaning of joy to the full. He was always in pain and could only see things horizontally because he was always lying down and c...

My little was and is.

How you weren't but now you are, A little springing joy from the walls of nature A rose sprouting from nowhere in to our hearts My morning glory and the carrier of my future You weren't here but you were always here The motivation to my daily misery Breaking my wall and configuring me But my heart yearns to see you soon The nights seemed longer than my life Lying all day and hoping to grace your face Bruised and swollen all for your safety The little beast that was but wasn't Out of soft groans and misery You thrust forth into the world And my darkness broke into light My little beast that was and is.                           CATALEA BONEZ

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

See me rising in a floral skirt Holding high the prints of womanhood Illuminating the room with confidence I am a woman and that's my strength With no semblance outwardly I share a heart that's deep with courage A beauty that dwells within And decency that crowns my head A woman with glory A gateway to generations to come The detector to the likeness of our future I am a woman and that's my strength Break me and I'll come out stronger Suppress me and I'll explode into glory And if you appreciate the heart that beams There's no telling what extent I can go for you                             CATALEA BONEZ

BEAUTIFUL DEATH

As I laid, broken On my back and on the ground I saw the sky beaming Smiling but making mockery My blood on the sheets So beautiful the designs made Like scarlet glory, I bled Such beauty I beheld The aura of my death unusual The smell of nature luring me A faint smell of roses And a careful swirl of dusk breeze In awe, I smiled in death For I left in a beautiful way The pain forgotten, just beauty What a beautiful death.                        CATALEA BONEZ

CLINGS OF CHILDHOOD

I remember the days of old When my legs were feeble but free How the sun looked as beautiful as gold Where my heart Lept with joy for fun Through those sharp eyes Everything was ethereal No moment was remembered often I could always create a new one The smell of raindrops on dry sand Running legs and shouts of joy Then the look of sadness when darkness thrives But a smile on my face for dawn was aloof The wistful feeling of peace Content with only the moment at sight Humming softly and knowing joy at its finest Bracing the wind with spreading hands Swift was the journey of childhood A facade of our growing memories Sooner than later the sun didn't feel golden And the fun outside felt like a plague from the sun Now my present lies far away from my past slowly, memories are leaving me I no longer see things magically Just reality starring at me with content Tell me your journey was as beautiful as mine When the cock Crowl was an alarm for freedom! How ...

Vanessa

Vanessa is standing on her toes again, holding her breath and hoping for the best. She stepped in to the living room, holding the tray on which the bowl of hot pepper soup was kept. She was contemplating how to tell her dad about tailoring tutorials and the confusing poking aroma of the soup her mother had prepared. She had summoned so much courage to finally tell him and couldn't go back on her decision. She placed the tray on the table and gave him a wistful look. He turned and grinned, "your mother is at it again huh" he said, "yes father" she replied, bringing the tray closer. The table was fairly clean, a little bit of paper here and there, books lined up in a stack like a a trade fair. She sat down on the other end of the dining room table, facing her father and watching him munch on the meat. She knew her dad would dance on the strings a little to scare her off but she also knew her confidence would pull him down. "Dad?" she muttered, "yes ...
